Privacy Policy — Thunder Tanks

This policy explains what data the mobile game Thunder Tanks ("the Game"), published by VM Game Studios ("we", "us"), collects and how it is used. By installing and playing the Game you agree to this policy.

Data we collect

We do not ask you to create an account and we do not collect your name, email address or phone number. The Game and the services it uses process the following data:

• Advertising identifier (Google Advertising ID) and device identifiers — used to deliver and measure advertising.
• Approximate location derived from IP address — used to determine which privacy rules apply to you and to select relevant ads. We do not collect GPS location.
• Device and app information — device model, operating system version, language, app version.
• Ad interaction data — which ads were shown, viewed or clicked.
• Purchase data — the fact and content of an in-app purchase. Payment details are handled entirely by Google Play; we never receive or store your card data.

Game progress

Your progress, currency and unlocked items are stored locally on your device. They are not uploaded to our servers, and we operate no servers that store player data. Deleting the Game deletes this data.

Why we process this data

• To show advertising, including rewarded video you choose to watch, and to measure it.
• To deliver purchased items and to restore purchases you have already made.
• To prevent fraud and abuse of ads and purchases.

Third-party services

The Game uses the following services, each of which processes data under its own privacy policy:

• Google AdMob — advertising. See How Google uses data in advertising.
• Google Play Billing — in-app purchases. See the Google Privacy Policy.

Consent and your choices

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, the Game asks for your consent before personalised advertising is used, through Google's User Messaging Platform. You may refuse; in that case you will still see advertising, but it will be non-personalised.

Regardless of where you live, you can reset or delete your advertising identifier in your device settings (Settings → Google → Ads), or opt out of ad personalisation there.

Your rights

Depending on your country, you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data relating to you, and to object to its processing. Because we hold no player accounts and store progress only on your device, the fastest way to erase the data held by the Game is to uninstall it. For requests concerning data processed by advertising partners, contact us and we will direct your request to the relevant provider.

Children

The Game is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has provided us with such data, contact us and we will delete it.

Security

All data leaving the Game is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) by the services listed above. We hold no player accounts, no passwords and no payment details, so there is no such data on our side to be lost or disclosed. Progress stored on your device is protected by the sandbox of your operating system and is accessible only to the Game.

Data retention

We ourselves retain no personal data. Data processed by the services listed above is retained according to their own policies.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The date at the top of the page always shows the current version, and material changes will be reflected in the Game's store listing.
